International Grains Program Launches New Blog

Manhattan, KS—The International Grains Program faculty and staff are excited to announce the launch of their blog.

"We believe that this is the next communications channel that we should begin using.

"Our intent is to use this blog to host relevant conversations about current industry events, helping keep interested parties advised of our activities and helping to keep us advised of industry discussion," says Mark Fowler, IGP associated director.

The blog features general industry information as well as posts specific to each of IGP's focus areas - feed manufacturing and grain management, flour milling and grain processing, and grain marketing and risk management.

"We are excited about this opportunity to engage with our audience in a different capacity," says Fowler.

"We truly hope that people will take the time to visit the site and let us know what they think about it and how it can serve them better."

This blog will be authored by several individuals Fowler says.

"Currently, IGP's curriculum experts, Jay O'Neil, Carlos Campabadal and I, will be producing a majority of the content.

"In time, we hope to also hear from other K-State faculty and industry professionals," he says.

IGP provides educational training to grain and oilseed industry professionals in the areas of flour milling and grain processing, grain marketing and risk management, and feed manufacturing and grain management.
