NAMA 2012 Annual Meeting ... Oct. 25-27 ... Asheville, NC
Date Posted: October 25, 2012
We cordially invite you to be our guests at NAMA’s Annual Meeting October 25-27, 2012 at historic The Grove Park Inn, Asheville, NC. Join the leaders of the milling industry for two days of shared insights, information gathering, and networking.
Get informed. The program this year, “Shared Insights Increase Industry Impact,” will provide critical information that will help leaders in the milling industry navigate the many shared challenges the industry will face in the coming months and years.
The only thing constant is change, as the saying goes, and by networking with colleagues, learning from the wisdom of industry thought leaders, and exchanging ideas with like-minded people, you’ll be better equipped to create a road map, regardless of the destination.
We will provide insights into the robust regulatory environment for food safety and the environment and examine the potential changes in the public policy climate as we enter a new election cycle.
How will the environment change?
What will stay the same?
How can millers develop a solid, unified voice that decision makers will listen to?
As the public and the government become increasingly concerned with what happens “from farm to fork,” new ways of operating are almost certainly on the horizon.
Together, we will increase the industry’s ability to meet the challenges we face today as well as develop strategies to sustain and strengthen the industry in an uncertain future.
We’ll also examine how the industry will continue to evolve in an uncertain economy and explore how the Grain Foods Foundation, newly invigorated as Christine Cochran takes the helm, will give the industry even more power when it comes to promotion, advocacy, and public perception.
