Purdue University Dept. of Entomology Seeks Input For Pest Management and Facility Sanitation Online Survey

Date Posted: March 1, 2013

West Lafayette, IN—Purdue University’s Department of Entomology is seeking the participation of the grain milling industry to participate in an online survey that is exploring the relationship between pest management and facility sanitation.

The survey is part of a doctoral student’s thesis project, which is investigating how sanitation influences the success of pest management programs in food processing facilities.

The survey’s goals are to help identify trends which may suggest ways to reduce pest management costs, as well as share information on how to implement these changes and improve pest management and sanitation programs in the food processing industry.

The survey is relatively simple and will take less than 15 minutes to complete. Participants may complete the survey at their convenience and submit their responses by using the link posted below.

All responses are kept strictly confidential, and none of the information provided will be attributed to the participant’s facility.

Any descriptive questions asked about the facility will be used only for the purpose of establishing baseline comparisons between facilities and not to identify them.

All information submitted will be stored in a secure manner, and any respondent has the right to end his/her participation at any time.
