International Grains Program Launches Online Registration Site

Manhattan, KS—With more than 500 participants last year from over 30 countries, Kansas State University’s International Grains Program is implementing new technology to simplify course registration with a new online registration website.

“IGP continues to strive toward innovative and relevant programs beginning with delivering the best, most efficient way for our participants to find and enroll in our courses.

"The new standardized form for online registration will help streamline the process, both for participants and for our office,” Mark Fowler, associate director and technical milling specialist at IGP says.

The new website can be found at www.igpevents.grains.ksu.edu and features a list of currently scheduled courses, with detailed descriptions of each training.

Leading off the registration are the Extrusion Processing: Technology and Commercialization course and the IGP Feed Manufacturing training.

“With these two courses quickly approaching, the new registration site will be sure to receive a proper test in the coming months,” Fowler says.

”We’re excited to see the benefits of the new system with the upcoming registrations.”

These first two courses are part of the feed manufacturing and grain management curriculum.

In addition, IGP offers training in grain marketing and risk management, and flour milling and grain processing.
