Hansen-Mueller Co. Purchases 1.4 Million-Bushel Grain Elevator in Minneapolis, MN

Minneapolis, MN - Jan. 14, 2019 - Hansen-Mueller Co., an Omaha, Nebraska-based company providing customized solutions for the grain industry since 1979, announced today that it has purchased a commercial elevator in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The 1.4 million-bushel facility is strategically located in the heart of Minneapolis with great access to rail and truck routes.

The elevator is located at 648 24^th Ave. SE.

“We couldn’t be more thrilled to open our 20^th location and have it be located in the Twin Cities.

Hansen-Mueller, a family owned business for the past 40 years, owns or operates 20 facilities throughout ten states, including three port locations, and five feed mills, in addition to its grain storage facilities.

The Minneapolis elevator is positioned in the midst of Hansen-Mueller’s footprint.

This latest acquisition follows the company’s purchase of more than 10 facilities in Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota in the past 3 years.
