Allendale Inc. June Supply and Demand Estimates

Date Posted: June 11, 2013

Corn - Old crop exports are lowered while ethanol is increased. Argentina's crop is estimated at 25.5 mt while Brazil is seen at 76.5 mt.

For new crop, Allendale assumes a 2.25 million acre reduction in acreage compared with the March 28 Prospective Planting.

Yield has been lowered to 156.0 due to planting progress.

Soybeans - Argentina's crop is estimated at 53.0 mt while Brazil is seen at 82.5 mt.

For new crop, Allendale's own production estimate assumes a 1.75 million acre increase in acreage and our own 43.35 trend yield.

Wheat - We look for USDA to slightly revise winter wheat production higher on this report.
