Assumption, IL — Andy Stednitz has joined GSI Group’s grain team as North American sales director for the Central Region.

Stednitz is an accomplished manager and brings over 15 years of success in sales and leadership positions in manufacturing organizations.

Stednitz will be working closely with existing East and West Region sales directors as part of the sales leadership team.

Creating this much needed third region will allow current leadership resources necessary to drive their sales organizations and focus on other strategic priorities.

Prior to joining GSI, Stednitz served as Regional Account Manager with Danaher Corporation in their Gilbarco Veeder-Root division located in Omaha, NE.

In that role he managed a broad product portfolio of products in a nine-state territory, as well as driving key account responsibilities.

Stednitz started his Danaher career in 1998 and grew through sales leadership positions.

He is a graduate of Creighton University in Omaha.

Prior to his sales career, Stednitz was a captain in the United States Army, where he served for four years.
