BioEnergy Texas Conference 2006 ... Lubbock, TX ... October 26Date Posted: October 10, 2006 Austin, TX -- The organizers of the upcoming, statewide BioEnergy Texas Conference 2006 officially announced today the six companies that will present at the Venture Forum during the Conference. The BioEnergy Texas Venture Forum will be held on Thursday, October 26 as a program of the Conference in Lubbock, TX. The Forum will be held from 1:30pm – 5pm at the International Cultural Center on the Texas Tech University campus. (The event is limited to the first 100 registrants.) The companies presenting are from around the State: > Big Daddy’s Biodiesel, Inc. from Hereford, TX > Catalyst Supply, a green building products company, based in Austin, TX > Ceres Energy, LLC, an agbioenergy process technology company based in Austin, TX > Gulf Coast Critical Power, a portable energy solutions company from Houston, TX > Surfside Environmental, Inc., a water/gas/oil decontamination technology company from Odessa, TX > Terrabon, LLC, a biofuel process technology company based in College Station, TX. The BioEnergy Venture Forum will offer programming, as well as the company presentations. NASDAQ Vice Presidents, John Jacobs and Demetrios Skalkotos will lead a question & answer session, and attendees will hear from the National Association of Venture & Seed Funds (NASVF), as well as the technology transfer offices of USDA & Sandia Labs. Attendees will be involved in a presentation from the Governor’s Office. The renewable energy sector in Texas is fast-growing, with a great deal of attention being directed from both the private sector, and from State government.
