CGB Breaks Ground For New Grain Facility in Meade County, KY

Date Posted: January 10, 2014

CGB Enterprises Inc. is pleased to announce the ground breaking ceremony of a new facility that will be located on the Ohio River near the town of Brandenburg, KY!

The facility will be the first tenant for Meade County's new riverport, providing a new market for Kentucky producers.

"We will employee about six workers at the facility and expect its presence will draw in additional interest and business," said Mark St. Clair, General Manager for the region.

"I think this will bring so many things together for the community," he added.

The location will be a part of CGB’s Ohio Valley Region and is planned to be operational before the 2014 harvest season.

When complete, the site will offer CGB an increased presence and expanded draw territory in Kentucky that will complement the company’s current facilities in Jeffersonville, IN and Louisville, KY.

CGB Enterprises, Inc., headquartered in Mandeville, LA, operates 70 grain facilities across the Midwest.

In addition to grain facilities, the company has sizable operations in logistics and transportation, fertilizer, crop insurance, agri-finance, soybean processing, producer risk management, and other related businesses.
