Cereal Process Technologies Relocates Technical and Client Services to Overland Park, KSDate Posted: May 13, 2008 Cereal Process Technologies, a provider of patented corn dry fractionation technology to the ethanol industry, has relocated its technical and client services to Overland Park, KS. The firm's technical services and project management team has begun work from the offices at 12920 Metcalf Ave., Suite 150, in Overland Park. The technical services department includes system engineering and design, configuration and procurement, installation and startup of CPT's fractionation system. Company officials said the suburban Kansas City location provided a more central location for technical services and project management to serve its clients across the country. Based on a unique process, which separates the corn kernel into its component partsendosperm, germ and bran, CPT's technology results in significantly lower operating costs for ethanol production as well as higher values for the related co-products, according to company President Will Duensing. CPT's fractionation technology is in operation at Renew Energy's 130-million gallon ethanol facility near Jefferson, Wis. In addition to the efficiencies CPT fractionation makes available to new plants, Duensing said existing ethanol plants can be retrofitted to achieve similar economies and new higher revenue streams. Michael Regier, CPT director of technical services, heads the Overland Park office. For more information, call 217-779-2595. See Related Websites/Articles: Top Stories
