Date Posted: March 10, 2008
Kansas City, MO — The eighth largest grain storage company in the United States, DeBruce Grain, Inc., announced March 10 plans to build storage space for 800,000 bushels of grain adjacent to its existing “over the bank” facility in Rosedale, MS.
This project includes an ability to unload trucks to storage space at high speed and to go to both storage space and barge at the same time allowing throughput at as much as 70,000 bph.
“The construction of this new facility will be a great complement to our current facilities in Rosedale, because it give us more storage space to better meet customer demand,” said Paul DeBruce, CEO.
“Also, it will continue to provide great service to our customers in the area and across the nation.”
Construction is expected to begin in early April and be completed by the end of July, with the facility operational shortly thereafter.
This expansion is Phase 2 of a scheduled multi-phase expansion.
