Delta BioFuels Commences Start-Up of 18 MMGY Biodiesel Plant in Natchez, MS

Natchez, MS--Delta BioFuels, Inc. announced June 13 that it has successfully commenced start-up of its biodiesel production plant located in the Port of Natchez, MS.

The facility has been on-line since May 8, 2007 and is currently operating a fully- automated batch process production line capable of producing 18 million gallons per year, and approaching completion of a continuous flow production line capable of between 80 to 100 million gallons per year.

Aventine Renewable Energy, Inc. will be the marketer of the biodiesel.
