Diamondback Technology Expands Tumble Blender Line

San Luis Obispo, CA--Diamondback Technology, Inc. is expanding its line of Diamondback Tumble Blenders.

The blender, which uses the same award-winning technology featured in the Diamondback Hopper to optimize performance, now comes in 10 standard sizes ranging from 0.014 to 150 cu. ft. capacity.

The Diamondback Tumble Blender is known for its rapid and thorough bulk solids mixing with a variety of solids, including cohesive materials that cause hangups in other blenders.

The blender's motion twists and turns solids in multiple directions, creating cris-cross flow action that eliminates dead regions while providing excellent cross-flow.

The hopper portion also detaches to provide a superior anti-segregation container to feed the next process.

"This unique blender is ideal for mixed batch storage where the mixer hopper is also the storage unit because is prevent dusts, cross-contamination and labor-intensive transfer," says Diamondback Technology President Lee Dudley.

"It also works well for feeding extruders and direct compression tableting presses."

All Diamondback Tumble Blenders have removable, interchangeable vessels.

The two smallest tumble blenders use Lexan® only vessels, while the larger sizes come in stainless steel which can be polished to specifications, including food or pharmaceutical grade internal finishes.

A optional high-speed intensifier bar is available for mixing cohesive solids or solids and liquids.
