Midsouth Grain Association Executive Secretary William Bullard Dies at 67

William L. Bullard, 67, executive secretary of the Midsouth Grain Association, one of National Grain and Feed Association’s (NGFA) regional affiliated associations, died Jan. 5.
Bullard was employed by Hurley and Associates as a commodities broker in Charleston, MO since 1993.
He began his career as an export and domestic grain merchandiser with Cook Industries and later worked 10 years as general manager of Farmers Grain Terminal Inc., Greenville, MS.
In the late 1980s, he joined Louis Dreyfus Corp. to mange its rice facility in New Madrid, MO.
His passions were running, biking, and swimming, and he was an unforgettable mentor and inspiration to many through these activities.
Bullard died after a two-month battle with brain cancer.
He is survived by his wife, Vicki Petty Bullard; his children, Nancy Bullard Owens (David), Jennifer Bullard Wilhelm (Peter), Stephanie Bullard Lancaster (Kevin), and William Lee Norton (Sheila); his grandchildren, Maddie Lancaster, Molly Lancaster, Daly Raffety, Lily Raffety, Blair Norton and Gray Norton; and his mother, Nellie H. Bullard.
