Ferrell-Ross Roll Manufacturing Names Clay Gerber President; David C. Ibach, Jr. Remains CEO

Upon recommendation by the Chairman of the Board of Directors for Ferrell-Ross Roll Manufacturing, Inc., the members voted December 14th, 2012, by majority to name Mr. Clay Gerber as President of the company with Mr. David C. Ibach Jr. continuing on as CEO.

Clay Gerber is a graduate of Dalhart High School and later completed Supervision Management courses at Amarillo College.

Clay started his career in 1983 at W-W Roll Works of Dalhart, Texas as a Roll Service Technician changing rolls in Feed Yards and repairing Steam Chests.

In 1989 he went to work for ATCO Sales and Service where he learned Fabrication skills, Grinding and Corrugating and continued servicing rolls in the field.

In 1993 ATCO was acquired by BAIC of Bluffton, Indiana and became part of their Ferrell-Ross division in Amarillo, Texas where he continued changing rolls and building relationships with yard and mill managers throughout the cattle feeding industry.

In 1996, Clay became Service Manager for the Amarillo operations and then in 1998 went on the road as a Sales Engineer.

In 2003, David Ibach acquired the assets of the Amarillo operation from the A.T. Ferrell Company, Inc. and formed a new company, Ferrell-Ross Roll Manufacturing, Inc.

Ibach relocated the company to Hereford, Texas in 2004 where Clay continued in outside sales until 2007 when he was promoted to Vice President of Customer and Technical Services until 2010 when he was named Executive Vice President in charge of Customer Service.

Clay has traveled extensively around the world building relationships with feed and grain customers in Australia, Korea, Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, Mexico, Czech Republic, throughout Canada and the U.S. providing Ferrell-Ross Roll Manufacturing, Inc. with recognition as Systems Solution providers.

Ferrell-Ross Roll Manufacturing, Inc. manufactures rolls and provides services to cattle feeders, commercial feed mills and grain elevators from its headquarters in Hereford, Texas, “The Beef Capital of the World.”
