GEAPS Accepting Registrations for New Human Resource Management Course

New for 2010, the Grain Elevator and Processing Society (GEAPS) and Kansas State University (KSU) have developed a human resources management course focused on hiring employees for the long term.

GEAPS 580: Hiring and Retaining Good Employees in the Grain Industry provides information and advice about how grain companies can do a better job recruiting and retaining great employees.

The main goal: hiring and keeping good people of all ages and maximizing their strengths.

This GEAPS-KSU classic, dedicated to the memory of David Brown, who died in 1975 in a grain facility explosion, provides a basic understanding of electrical safety requirements for grain elecators and grain-processing facilities.
