Job Description

Designs and produces drawings of metal fabrication components for enclosed belt conveyors.

Creates bills of material (BOM).

Determines product specifications; performs verification/maintenance and product management.

Illustrates systems from specifications, source control drawings, sketches, models, prototypes or verbal instructions.

In addition, will help ensure that company operating and cost efficiencies are obtained, quality and safety standards are achieved, and customer delivery deadlines are met.

Other Job Requirements

Associate degree in drafting design or equivalent experience required. Three to four years drafting experience required. Must have valid driver's license. ERP/MRP and manufacturing experience preferred. Qualifed applicants should possess a working knowledge of SolidWorks, AutoCAD 2006 or newer, proficient in 2 dimensional drawing in AutoCAD. Applicant should be knowledgeable in manufacturing processes and able to communicate with manufacturing personnel. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual with strong design and communication skills who can work independently and as part of our Engineering, Sales and Production staff on a variety of projects.

Hi Roller(r) Enclosed Belt Conveyors is dedicated to the design and manufacture of enclosed belt conveyors for the handling of dry, dusty product. Hi Roller is a manufacturer specializing exclusively in the design and application of conveyors which will not only contain dust and spilled materials, but will also automatically reload that material back on to the carrying surface of the belt. In the late 1970's, the need was recognized for a conveyor which would eliminate the emission of explosive grain dust, which would greatly reduce housekeeping and maintenance costs. Also, the dust reduction would decrease the need for costly dust collection systems and the costs associated with the operation and upkeep of these systems.

The astounding acceptance and success of the Hi Roller(r) Conveyor in the grain industry has led to its application in numerous non-agricultural industries handling a wide array of products. Products handled include clay products, fertilizer, carbon, salt, grains, borax, and lime, just to name a few. In fact, the Hi Roller(r) Conveyor can handle just about any dry, dusty granular product.
