House Agriculture Committee Chairman Collin Peterson (D-MN) and Congressman Eliot Engel (D-NY) will hold a press conference on Dec. 5 with supporters of a Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) in the energy bill being considered by Congress.

Peterson and Engel will be joined by other Members of Congress who support the RFS, including Congresswoman Stephanie Herseth Sandlin (D-SD) and other Members of Congress.

They will also be joined by a diverse group of organizations that supports the RFS because it promotes energy independence and security while encouraging rural development.

The press conference will be broadcast live on the House Agriculture Committee's website.
