Iogen Supplies Cellulosic Ethanol E85 for U.S. Air Force 25 Hours of Thunderhill Race in Willows, CA

Iogen Corporation is the first company in the world to provide cellulosic ethanol for the United States Air Force 25 Hours of Thunderhill(tm) race, the longest road race in the world.

Car #87 finished second overall in the ESR class in a field of 70.

Car #28 set the fastest lap of the race.

According to GAM team member Steve Zadig, the engines and fuel "never missed a beat and performed flawlessly".

Iogen manufactured and provided 845 gallons of cellulosic ethanol from its Ottawa demonstration facility to the two car Green Alternative Motorsports (GAM) team for the December 1-2/2007 endurance race in Willows, CA.

Green Alternative Motorsports developed two LeMans Prototype (LMP3) race cars for competition in endurance auto racing, specifically to run on cellulosic ethanol.
