The enhancements focus on the use of message boards, RFID technology, and integration capabilities to help keep traffic moving and improve turnaround times while streamlining operations and business management. The message board interface allows users to display information automatically from the oneWeigh systemsuch as weight and grade informationon an outdoor message board to inform and guide haulers. The benefits of this feature are added convenience, improved communication, and time savings for the hauler who can see various information on the message board such as where to dump the load. System operators can choose the information to display on the message board by setting up parameters based on certain events and criteria. Integration with grading equipment has been improved with custom interface capabilities which allow users to create or modify grading interfaces and capture, from new or existing meters, the data they need for their operation. Additional interface enhancements involving RFID technology allow users to quickly set up RF tags to auto-populate tickets with user-defined information from the oneWeigh system's ticket entry screen. "These significant enhancements further help grain handling facilities improve the customer experience which, in turn, helps the facility gain a competitive advantage," says Tom Angell, director of marketing for John Deere Agri Services. "The easier the process goes for the grain haulers at a particular facility, the more apt they are to do repeat business with that facility.
