Marola, ILKoehl Bros., Inc., a leading grain system dealer for over six decades, is growing again.
Jeff Fjelstul, vice president of parts and sales since 2011, has been promoted to general manager and Brooke Wicklund has joined the team as accounting manager.
“Fjelstul’s industry experience and operation tactics make him a natural to lead Koehl Brothers. Not only is he well versed in the equipment and technical arena, he is a progressive leader who engages his team as the number one asset,” states Jason Luster, Koehl owner.
“Having a dynamic leader that my entire team rallies with will result in exponential growth for us. We are cross-training our team members to be more effective and adding processes to our services that customers have never experienced before.”
To parallel this growth, Koehl added Wicklund as accounting manager.
Wicklund’s primary responsibility is creating efficiencies in business processes.
“Detecting cost-savings early in our growth enables us to keep our costs low, resulting in better value to our customers,” states Luster.
Wicklund’s experience with lean manufacturing and six sigma will drive process improvements in inventory management, furthering Koehl’s new parts and service offering.
Fjelstul has served in the grain industry for nearly a decade, prior to that he was senior manager of enterprise operations at Whirlpool, a Fortune 500 company.
Wicklund has worked for Mueller Company, a publically traded manufacturer, since 2007 and has an MBA with concentration in Accounting.
