Mike Myrick Resigns as GEAPS' International Board Chair; Tom Price to Complete 2008-09 Term (GEAPS)

Due to changing employment, Mike Myrick of GEAPS’ Hoosier Chapter has resigned his position as International Board chair.
Myrick was International president in 2007-08, and succeeded to the Board chair position at Exchange 2008 in Omaha last month.
Following GEAPS leadership succession protocol, Tom Price, Board chair in 2007-08, will resume service, effective immediately.
Price, assistant vice president at James Richardson International, Winnipeg, agreed to serve out the 2008-09 term.
Duties include leading the International Board of Directors.
The Board represents the interest of all members in evolving and advancing GEAPS’ strategic plan.
It also identifies and oversees the development and implementation of member programs and services that best serve GEAPS’ core purpose.
Board chair duties also include chairmanship of the International Board Nominations and Marketing Oversight committees, as well as serving as a member of the Executive Committee.
Price, of the Canadian Prairies Chapter, was International President in 2006-07.
