NGFA Elects Members to Board of Directors and Executive CommitteeDate Posted: March 9, 2010 Washington—Members of the National Grain and Feed Association (NGFA) elected 15 industry leaders to serve on its 60-member Board of Directors during the organization’s 114th annual convention this month. Established in 1896, the NGFA consists of more than 1,000-member companies from all sectors of the grain elevator, feed and feed ingredient, integrated livestock and poultry, grain processing, biofuels and exporting business that operate about 6,000 facilities nationwide and handle more than 70 percent of all U.S. grains and oilseeds. Elected to three-year terms on the NGFA Board of Directors were: Martin J. Canadian and Mexican firms also are NGFA members, and use its Trade Rules and Arbitration System by specific reference in their contracts. The NGFA also consists of 35 affiliated state and regional grain and feed associations, as well as two international affiliated associations.
