NGFA and Northern Crops Institute Co-Sponsor "Feed Safety: Managing a HACCP Program" Short Course October 7-9 in Fargo, NDDate Posted: August 26, 2008 The NGFA is pleased to be co-sponsoring a Technical Short Course – “Feed Safety: Managing a HACCP Program” – with the Northern Crops Institute. The three-day course is scheduled for Oct.7-9 in Fargo, ND, and will focus on how to develop voluntary hazard analysis and critical control point (HACCP) plans for all sectors of the feed industry, including ingredient suppliers and finished feed manufacturers. The course will provide the template needed to develop voluntary HACCP plans tailored to individual company operations. Course organizers say that those involved in feed and feed ingredient production, quality assurance, procurement or ingredient sourcing, and regulatory issues would benefit from attending.
