Date Posted: November 6, 2013

Lansing, MI—Neogen Corporation has named Adrian Acuña as its milling and grain territory manager for the South and Southwestern U.S.

In this new role, Acuña will be responsible for working with milling and grain customers in his territory, including product training and support, for Neogen’s comprehensive line of milling and grain products.

Acuña joined Neogen earlier this year as an inside sales representative for the South and Southwestern U.S.

Prior to joining Neogen, he worked with the Texas Department of Agriculture as an inspector for regulatory services in addition to serving in the department’s marketing group.

“Working one-on-one with customers throughout the past year has given me invaluable insight into the needs of Neogen’s milling and grain clients,” Acuña said.

“I look forward to building those relationships further, and expanding Neogen’s reach into new markets, as well as introducing new solutions for sanitation monitoring and microbiology to our customers.”

Acuña received his Bachelor’s degree in animal science from Michigan State University, where he served as president for the MSU Rodeo Club and established International Engagement Volunteers, a group dedicated to fundraising for MSU’s global initiative programs.

“Adrian’s hard work, knowledge and initiative will be a great benefit to our customers,” said Pat Frasco, Neogen’s sales director for milling and grain.

“We look forward to the great work he will do.”

Neogen’s comprehensive line of products for the milling and grain industry include its Reveal® Q+ mycotoxin tests, which detect mycotoxins at required levels in only minutes.

Neogen Corporation (Nasdaq: NEOG) develops and markets products dedicated to food and animal safety.

The company’s Food Safety Division markets dehydrated culture media, and diagnostic test kits to detect foodborne bacteria, natural toxins, genetic modifi cations, food allergens, drug residues, plant diseases and sanitation concerns.
