Nine GROWMARK Employees Receive Awards at 2008 National Council of Farmer Cooperatives' Information FairDate Posted: February 18, 2008 Bloomington, ILNine GROWMARK employees were recognized at the 2008 National Council of Farmer Cooperatives’ (NCFC) Information Fair, a communications contest that recognizes excellence in the publications, member relations, and marketing products of farmer cooperatives. Earning first place honors were Amy Bradford, corporate communications manager, in the speechwriting category for the GROWMARK Chairman’s Annual Meeting Address “Lead Large;” and Bev Long, marketing communications manager, Matt Hynes, seed sales and marketing manager, Ron Milby, seed division manager, and Megan Leopold, seed marketing communications manager, in the marketing campaign category for “Farming smart begins with FS Seed.” In the package design category, Long, Jim Spradlin, agronomy division manager, Mark Thornsbrough, director, crop protection, and Lance Ruppert, crop protection marketing manager, received a second place award for “Private Label FS Agriculture Adjuvants.” Bradford, Karen Jones, publications and news specialist, and Tiffany Loercher, graphic designer, took third place honors in the employee publication category for the Spirit magazine.
