North Dakota Grain Dealers Educational Foundation Offers Scholarships For Ag Students

SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE FOR AGRICULTURE STUDENTS

The North Dakota Grain Dealers Educational Foundation is taking applications for financial aid for the 2013-2014 school term.

Eight awards of $750 per person are anticipated.

Students must be enrolled in one of the following curriculums:

BISMARCK State College:

Agriculture Industry & Technology

Agriculture Transfer

BOTTINEAU – Dakota College of Bottineau:

Agriculture Transfer

DICKINSON State University:

Agricultural Studies

Specialization: Business/Marketing or Soil Science

Agriculture Sales and Service

Specialization: Agriculture Business Management or Technology in Agriculture

Agriculture Transfer

FARGO – NDSU College of Agriculture, Food Systems and Natural Resources

Agribusiness Specialization: Management, Agribusiness Marketing or Agribusiness Financing

Agricultural Economics

Agricultural Systems Management - Specialization: Applied Business

Biotechnology

Crop & Weed Sciences

Specialization: Agronomy, Biotechnology or Weed Science

Food Science

Soil Science

WAHPETON North Dakota State College of Science:

Crop Production Sales and Technology

Agriculture Transfer

WILLISTON State College:

Agriculture Sales and Marketing Technology

Agricultural Technology

Agriculture Transfer

Agronomy Technician

The Foundation was incorporated in 1981 by the North Dakota Grain Dealers Association.

Approximately $184,000 in scholarships and grants have been awarded by the Foundation.

Major emphasis is on the students interested in careers in the grain marketing industry.

Scholarship application deadline is September 30, 2013.
