Charlie Swanson Elected ChairmanCharlie Swanson, Coop Services Inc., Lawton was elected as the 2011-2012 Chairman of the Oklahoma Grain and Feed Association at the 113th annual meeting held May 3-4 in Oklahoma City. Charlie has served as General Manager of Coop Services Ins., Lawton for the past 8 years. Coop Services Inc. has branches at Lawton, Chattanooga and Grandfield. Prior to coming to Coop Services, he worked as President for Gold Bank in Hobart and previous to that he worked in southwest Oklahoma as a Coop Manager and Banker for various organizations for several years. He is also a farmer/rancher in the Roosevelt area of Kiowa County where his operation consists of wheat, cow-calf and stocker cattle. Charlie has been married to Mary Jan for 42 years and they have two sons and six grandchildren. He has served on the Oklahoma Grain and Feed Association Board since 2008. Other officers elected by the Board are First Vice Chairman Kelvin Woods, ADM Milling Company, Enid; Second Vice Chairman Kirk Burgess, State Line Grain Company, Manchester and President Joe N. Hampton.
