Podcast: Dr. Darrel Good, University of Illinois Marketing Specialist, Analyzes The August WASDE Report (10 minutes)
Date Posted: August 12, 2013
The U.S. Department of Agriculture has released the August World Agriculture Supply and Demand Estimates, reflecting the adjusted production from the August 1 Crop Production Report.
Corn feed and residual was pared back, along with a slight cut in exports and a lowering of the expected carryout for the 2013-14 marketing year for corn.
Lower soybean production estimates pushed down the expected crush and carryout for the 2013-14 crop.
Providing his analysis of the WASDE report is Dr. Darrel Good, marketing specialist at the University of Illinois (217-333-4716).
