Q-Sage Expands Mt. Pleasant, MI Facility

New Warehouse Provides Space For Improved Customer Service
It was a good problem to have: Q-Sage, Inc., Mt. Pleasant, MI was running out of space to build and ship its seed cleaning equipment.
“We were literally tripping over each other as we prepared equipment for shipment,” says Q-Sage President Tim Throop.
“The new 11,375 sq. ft. addition will be especially useful as we stage new products for shipment. It will also help with production and allow us to reduce lead times so we can better serve our customers.”
Along with the expansion, Q-Sage is installing a new paint system including a pre-paint wash bay and paint booth.
Q-Sage, Inc. (www.q-sage.com) manufactures grain conditioning equipment for the seed, grain, and edible food industries.
Its products include: “HIGH” capacity air screen cleaners (with capacity to 8,000 bph), “Precision” air screen cleaners, vibratory conveyors, edible bean polishers, sifting vibratory conveyors, and soybean spherical sorters.
The company was established in 2007 by Throop.
