RFA Elects New Board of Directors and Officers for Fiscal Year 2008

Date Posted: October 4, 2007

Washington, DC--The Renewable Fuels Association (RFA) announced on Oct. 4 the election of its Board of Directors and officers for the 2008 Fiscal Year.

The elections, held during the RFA's annual meeting in Washington, DC, are for one-year terms.

"It is an honor to work for such a dedicated and visionary group of people," said RFA President Bob Dinneen.

"Tremendous opportunities lay in store for this industry and this country if we remain committed to increasing the production and use of ethanol.

Without question, the Board of Directors of the RFA will work tirelessly to ensure that appropriate policies and marketing opportunities are in place to ensure a stronger, more stable energy, environmental and economic future for generations to come."

To qualify as a Board member, the company must be an ethanol producer. The RFA represents more than 80 percent of the ethanol produced in the U.S.
