In early January, Shad Singleton was named the Western region sales manager for Union Iron Works (UIW), Decatur, IL (800-333-5148), a division of Ag Growth International (AGI), Winnipeg, MB.

He is an eight-year veteran of Schlagel, Inc., with a background in welding and heavy equipment operations management.

Singleton’s position is new for the company, created as the result of personnel restructuring which shifted former UIW Sales and Marketing Manager Dave Wernsing to the AGI sales staff.

Wernsing is now AGI’s director of international sales, and will work from UIW’s Decatur office.

Singleton will work from a Minnesota location and will manage sales staff in the western half of the United States.
