Fort Wayne, IN--Expansion is underway at Summit Software, Inc.

The project is in response to an increasingly high demand for Summit's products and services.

Summit Software, Inc. is a developer of fully integrated, fully graphical accounting and inventory management software servicing the petroleum distribution, convenience store, biofuels, grain, and agribusiness markets.

Much of the demand generated is a direct result of Summit's unique position in the market place.

Summit's products differ from their competitors in that they are designed and developed in-house, fully integrated, fully graphical, and use a thin client design which allows for web hosting in addition to single pc and server environments.

In May 2007, Mike Kuker, Manager of Software Development, announced plans to significantly expand Summit's Product Development Department.

Since the announcement, Summit has added 5 members to the department and has plans to hire three more developers by the year end.

The new positions allow for further specialization of their five product development teams for the biofuels, grain, agribusiness, petroleum distribution and convenience store markets.

In addition, six more positions are planned for the next two years.

Summit's expansion is not limited to the programming department, however.

Maureen Connors, manager of Software Support has added 3 members to her department since January 1 of this year and is in the process of filling four more positions.

Most recently, Summit expanded their Sales and Marketing department with the addition of a Sales Manager.

Summit Software, Inc. is currently looking to hire product analysts, business programmer analysts, a new technology programmer analyst, and software support specialists.
