Tapco Expands St. Louis, MO Manufacturing Plant For More Elevator Bolt InventoryDate Posted: July 23, 2008
St. Louis, MOTapco Inc., industry-leading manufacturer of elevator buckets and bolts, recently expanded their headquarters in St. Louis, MO. The new expansion increases total office and warehouse space to 92,000 sq. ft. This addition has allowed Tapco to increase its inventory of elevator bolts to over 12 million – and add 33 NEW sizes of #1 Norway and Fanged metric bolts in 6mm, 8mm and 10mm diameters and lengths up to 50mm. Tapco’s mission is to offer the best selection and availability of elevator bolts, at a competitive price. Tapco has been in its own facility for more than 25 years. The new additional space compliments Tapco’s in-house production of injection molded elevator buckets. Tapco recently added a 9th injection molding machine. They range from a 150-ton to a 1,000-ton press, allowing Tapco to make their line of buckets in the most expedient manner and with the greatest quality control. “Elevator bolts are one of our specialties. We have the largest inventory in the Northern Hemisphere,” Ted Beaty, E.V.P of Tapco Inc. says. “We offer top-notch quality bolts to accompany our buckets, as well as other accessories to help our customers improve productivity – no matter what material they handle.” For more information, call Ted Beaty at 800-288-2726.
