The Lakeland Companies Gear Up For Prominent Role at 85th Annual GEAPS Exchange

The Lakeland Companies are excited to play a significant role at the 2014 Grain Elevator and Processing Society’s (GEAPS) Exchange this month in Omaha, Neb.

Lakeland will demonstrate new, cutting-edge, grain-processing technologies and several executives will present on industry best practices at the 85th annual conference from February 22-25.

Attendees will get a taste for Lakeland’s hazard monitoring technologies at the conference.

Lakeland will be at booth 639 and feature its BusMux Pro and CMC’s EZ Sentinel 128 – both are key products utilized in preventing grain dust explosions.

The innovative Ground Pile Monitoring system (GPM) currently saves commodity-processing customers millions of dollars on shrinkage and commodity spoilage annually and will also be showcased at GEAPS.

Dustin Paloranta, VP of Lakeland Grain, will share Lakeland’s innovative GPM system in this year’s Idea Exchange.

The Idea Exchange features rapid-fire presentations from 12 industry experts on cutting-edge products, unique ideas and the value each technology brings to the grain world.

Vice President Bill Pickell will discuss troubleshooting bucket elevator problems alongside Bob Dieckmann, Materials Handling Engineer from Sukup Manufacturing Co.

Bill’s segment is one of 12 half-hour, hands-on learning opportunities called “Expo Pods.”

These sessions will highlight equipment across four different segments: drag conveyors, screw conveyors, belt conveyors, and bucket elevators.
