Vancouver, WA --- DM2 Software, Inc., a provider of business management software solutions to the petroleum distribution industry, announced July 2 that Tom Lane has joined the company as its new vice president of sales.

“We are extremely pleased to have Tom on the DM2 Software team," said Scott Burkard, DM2 Software’s president.

"He brings a tremendous amount of industry experience with him that will truly benefit our customer base moving forward,” Burkard said.

Prior to joining DM2, Lane worked for Petro Vend and OPW Fuel Management Systems for 22 years.

During his tenure at OPW, he held positions ranging from central region sales manager to vice president of fuel controls division.

Lane earned his marketing degree from Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, IL, in 1984 and his masters degree in ecommerce from DePaul University, Chicago, IL, in 2000.

Lane’s responsibilities will include managing DM2’s software and training sales and marketing efforts.
