Union Iron Works Adds Wernsing, Wayman, and WinglerDate Posted: May 12, 2008 Decatur, ILUnion Iron Works (UIW) has added three key personnel: David Wernsing (top) has been named sales and marketing manager. Wernsing comes to UIW with experience in management, finance, engineering, and sales for Toyota, GSI, Chindex International, Georgetown College, and most recently Brock Grain Systems. He has a bachelor’s degree in commerce, language and culture from Georgetown College, and a Master’s degree in international trade and commerce from the University of Kentucky, Lexington. He is trilingual in English, German, and Spanish. Mark Wayman (middle) has joined the engineering staff. Wayman has a bachelor's degree in agricultural engineering from Iowa State University and 10 years experience in the grain industry, most recently in material handling engineering at GSI. Tracy Wingler (bottom) has been named purchasing manager. Wingler's duties will include coordinating efforts with production, sales, engineering, shipping and receiving staff.
