United Cooperative Holds Customer Appreciation Picnic in Beaver Dam, WI

Beaver Dam—United Cooperative, based out of Beaver Dam, held their eastern Wisconsin customer appreciation picnic on Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2010, at the Dodge County Fairgrounds in Beaver Dam.

Almost 2,500 customers from all over eastern south-central Wisconsin enjoyed BBQ pork, brats, potato salad, and baked beans cooked by Glenn’s Market & Catering, Watertown.

Mullen’s ice cream, also from Watertown, was offered for dessert.

Various United Cooperative employees served customers 350 pounds of BBQ pork, 2,350 bratwurst, 560 pounds of potato salad, 430 pounds of baked beans, 4,032 pickle spears, 45 pounds of diced onions, 90 bags of potato chips, 969 pounds of ice cream, 30 gallons of strawberry topping, and 18 pounds of chocolate syrup.

The cooperative also hosted a customer appreciation picnic in Baraboo at the Sauk County Fairgrounds in August.

Almost 800 customers attended that event.
