Van Sickle, Allen & Associates (VAA) is an expanding engineering firm with a specific emphasis on the agricultural/industrial sector.

Founded in 1978, VAA is celebrating 30 years of working with facility owners and design/build contractors, providing facility planning, civil, rail and structural engineering for grain handling, feed milling, and flour milling projects, in addition to mechanical and electrical engineering for other Ag/Industrial construction projects.

Since our inception we have grown to a staff of over 80 employees and currently we are looking to fill the following positions in our Minneapolis, MN office:

• Senior Structural Engineer

• Project Manager

Qualifications/Responsibilities

Project Manager

We are looking for a self motivated individual to lead our project production team, who can communicate with clients and assist other key staff with business development efforts of Agribusiness.

Previous experience in industrial/agricultural construction, material handling equipment, industrial facilities, grain elevators, feed mills, and slip forms is required.

Experience with AutoCAD 2008 and Microsoft Project is preferred.

Senior Structural Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Professional Engineer with 5-10 years of experience to lead and direct the work of other engineers, communicate with staff and clients and assist project managers with the production of high quality structural design drawings.

Previous experience in industrial/agricultural construction, material handling equipment, industrial facilities, grain elevators, feed mills, and slip forms is preferred.

Experience with AutoCAD 2008, RISA, STAAD, Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project is preferred.
