Calgary, AB—Viterra Inc. ("Viterra") (TSX:VT)(ASX:VTA) announced July 29 its intent to offer U.S. dollar senior notes in a private placement to qualified institutional buyers in the United States and to other qualified institutional investors in certain other jurisdictions.

The net proceeds from the private placement would be used to reduce borrowings under Viterra's Global Credit Facility and for general corporate purposes.
