Wheat Growers (SD) Announces Board and Delegate Election Results

Aberdeen, SD—Wheat Growers, a farmer-owned and farmer-governed cooperative, announced the 2013 Board of Directors and Delegate election results at their annual meeting.
The Executive Committee of the Board was re-elected.
Hal Clemensen of Conde, S.D., is President of the Board; Jeff Lakner of Wessington, S.D., Vice President; Wally Knock of Willow Lake, S.D., Secretary and Tom Morog of St. Lawrence, S.D., Director at Large.
In other Board elections Matt Johnson of Webster, S.D., was elected to the Board, replacing the retiring Chuck Hahler.
“Wheat Growers thanks Chuck Hahler for his six years of service to the Board,” Hal Clemensen, Wheat Growers Board President, said.
“The cooperative benefitted from Chuck’s insight and input over a very busy time of growth and progress.”
New Wheat Growers Delegates were also elected: Jeff Kippley and Jeff Schaunaman, both of Aberdeen, S.D., represent District 1; Reese Wagner of Redfield, S.D., represents District 2; John Hoffmann of Wessington, S.D., represents District 3; Jonathan Hurd of Rockham, S.D., represents District 4; and Dwight Schlepp of Ashley, N.D., and Eric Thomas of Bowdle, S.D., represent District 5.
“With the election of these Board members and Delegates, Wheat Growers is in an excellent position for the foreseeable future.
