Younglove President Mike Rueckert to Retire After 40 Years With Firm

Sioux City, IA--After 40 years with Younglove Construction, L.L.C., the last 28 years as president, Mike Rueckert will retire June 30.

Rueckert joined the 111-year-old design/build contractor in June, 1967 after graduating with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Iowa State University, Ames.

Mike Gunsch has been promoted to president, and Bill Bradbury and Loren Field have been promoted to senior vice presidents.

"Along with Vice Presidents Jeff Poss and Ken DuBois, Younglove will have in place the best and most experienced leadership team serving our industry," said Reuckert.

"With our project managers, design group, project superintendents, and field personnel, Younglove is extremely well positioned for the future."

In announcing his retirement, Rueckert said he was “both humbled and proud to have been a small part of the company. It has been a most gratifying and rewarding journey.”

Reuckert plans to move to Colorado, "enjoying time with my family (11 grand children), and exploring ways to serve others."
