Siemens has also invested in biofuels industry research with partnerships at the National Corn-To-Ethanol Research Center, at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and the USDA Agricultural Research Services, Wyndmoor, Penn., contributing to its pyrolysis research. Chmielewski earned a degree in chemical engineering from Lafayette College, Easton, PA and a MBA in corporate finance from Georgia State University.
