The Inorganics Division (CA) offers a broad portfolio of inorganic chemicals and specialties, mainly based on natural gas covering about five value chains as well as a variety of metal compounds. The large-volume basic products are exclusively produced in world-scale plants at the Verbund sites Ludwigshafen and Antwerp. Our basic chemicals as well as our specialties are sold to a lot of attractive customer industries worldwide.

The Business Units Inorganic Specialties (G-CAS) and Electronic Materials (G-CAE) are global business units.
The Regional Business Unit Glues and Impregnating Resins (E-CAL) is a close partner of the wood working industry in Europe. The Regional Business Unit Inorganic Chemicals (E-CAA) is also focused on Europe.
Our Business Unit Inorganics NAFTA (N-CA/N) represents the CA-business in the Northern American region.
The Business Unit Fertilizers (CAD) produces straight nitrogen fertilizers and multinutrient fertilizers for the K+S subsidiaries Compo and fertiva.

With more than 3,000 employees working in laboratories, production facilities and offices at our worldwide sites, we manufacture, develop and market the products of the Inorganics Division.
