The MGP Co-op annual meeting is tentatively scheduled for December 10th at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Algona, Iowa. Final date and ballot info will be mailed at a later date.
The election of persons to the MGP Co-op Board of Directors is one of the items that will take place at the meeting. District 1, members that reside in Kossuth County, Iowa, and District 3, members that do not reside in District 1 or District 2 (Illinois), are the only districts that have positions up for election this year. Directors are elected for 3-year terms.
A newsletter discussing the ethanol industry and Global Ethanol’s current condition is expected to be mailed the week of October 6th. The LLC has not declared a dividend distribution for the year ended June 30, 2008 based upon working capital needs.
