Upcoming Grain Handling Safety Training Sessions ... Aug. 23-24 ... Omaha and Grand Island, NE

Our mission to prevent injuries and save lives through education and advocacy continues with our Grain Handling Coalition partnership.

The partnership includes the National Safety Council, Nebraska; OSHA, the Nebraska Grain and Feed Association, and the Grain Handling Safety Coalition.

As part of this partnership we are hosting two safety education workshops focused on grain handling.

The training will be provided by the Illinois Grain Handling Safety Coalition through a Susan B. Harwood grant.

Train the Trainer-Grain Handlers

This training will focus on building confidence and provide attendees with current safety standard skills to deliver training to others as a training leader and safety advocate.

It will help to increase the understanding of safety and evaluate the best techniques to use while on the job.

Community Safety Training Session

This training session will cover topics for those who are working with grain directly.

It has been designed to help those understand the vitality of safety in their workplace and how safety exercises can be carried out.

$35 per person per session-includes all materials and lunch.
