AFIA Invites Graduate and Post Doctorate Students to Present Research Papers at Pet Food Conference ... Jan. 28 ... Atlanta, GA

The American Feed Industry Association is looking for outstanding graduate or post doctorate students in a pet food-related field to present their research papers at the upcoming AFIA Pet Food Conference.

The daylong conference will take place on Jan. 28, 2020, in conjunction with the International Production & Processing Expo in Atlanta, Ga.

Students should develop the research topic as an industry or trade conference presentation rather than for a purely scientific audience.

Emphasis should be placed on the background and development of rationale with a focus on the conclusions and implications for the pet food industry.

The selected students will have the opportunity to present their research to roughly 300 conference attendees, including representatives from all major pet food manufacturers and professional roles within their companies.

They will also receive a travel stipend to attend the conference as well as a certificate acknowledging selection to the program.

Outlines of the research papers are due by Sept. 27.
