Former Cargill CEO Whitney MacMillan passed away on Wednesday, March 11 at age 90 in Vero Beach, FL.
MacMillan served as CEO of the global company from the mid 1970s until 1995. He spent a total of 44 years working for the company.
"Whitney's almost 20 years as Cargill's CEO defined who we are today. He expanded the company from 31 to 53 countries and quadrupled our employee base," said Dave MacLennan, Cargill's current chief executive.
