GEAPS 554: Grain Elevator Equipment Maintenance

Level: Beginner

Do you maintain the equipment in your facility? Does your team? Learn how to maintain equipment safely!

You'll Learn:

  • Maintenance methodology, including preventative maintenance, lubrication and record-keeping
  • How to troubleshoot power transmissions
  • Ways to service conveyors, distributors, screening and other equipment.

GEAPS 610: Interpretation of Process Flow Diagrams

Level: Advanced

Do you understand how the flow diagram for your facility works? Do you know how to use flow charts to manage critical control points for food safety? This course covers the interpretation, use and creation of process flow diagrams.

You'll learn:

  • How to create flow diagrams for grain handling functions, feed processing, dry milling and wet process separations
  • How to use a flow chart to determine equipment requirements
  • How to draw a flow chart
