FGIS Releases Official UGMA Moisture Calibrations
The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Federal Grain Inspection Service has released an official directive, 9180.61, on unified grain moisture algorithm-compatible meters.
The directive defines official calibrations for use with the DICKEY-john GAC 2500-UGMA, Perten AM 5200-A, and FOSS GAC 2500-C moisture readers used by the Agricultural Marketing Service and its system of official inspection providers for official grain moisture measurement.
